Our Initiatives

Building Infrastructure for Change

Beyond consulting, we're building the networks, tools, and frameworks that communities need to drive their own progress.

The Rural Strong Network

The Challenge

Rural communities across America face declining infrastructure, economic stagnation, and political disconnection. National conversations rarely reflect rural realities, and existing frameworks fail to build the local power needed for lasting change.

Our Approach

This initiative strengthens rural communities by providing branding, networking, tools, tactics, and strategies that foster local leadership, connect on shared values, collective problem-solving, and making government work.

Trust

The Challenge

Trust in institutions, media, and each other has eroded dramatically. Without trust, democratic participation declines, communities fragment, and systemic change becomes nearly impossible.

Our Approach

Trust is the foundation of a functioning democracy and economy. We work with clients interested in testing and implementing solutions that rebuild trust in information, institutions, each other, their community, and government through media innovation, local engagement, and strategic investments in democracy and organizing.

REINS

The Challenge

Former factory towns in rural America face economic decline while climate-friendly industries struggle to scale. Competing interests (business, labor, climate advocates) work in silos instead of finding shared benefit.

Our Approach

REINS (Rural Economic & Environmental Innovators Networking Solutions) connects businesses, investors, labor leaders, and climate advocates to invest in innovative building materials and other manufactured products and renewable industries in rural America. This initiative seeks to bring often competing interests together to achieve shared benefit that revitalizes former factory towns, accelerates economic opportunity in rural America, and advances climate-friendly technologies and building materials at scale to sequester carbon in the built environment.
